S/V Luffin Life is a 2008 Gemini 105MC catamaran located in Luperon, Dominican Republic, and offered for $87,000 USD. US flagged and owned by her third owner, she is a proven, cruise-ready platform that has recently completed a family voyage from Florida to the Caribbean. Well equipped for comfortable liveaboard and island hopping, she features 940W of solar, 400Ah of lithium batteries, a 2000W inverter, Starlink connectivity, and a Seawater Pro 40 GPH watermaker. The 27hp Westerbeke diesel with Sillette outdrive runs strong, and her shallow draft, centerboards, and kick-up rudders allow access to anchorages most boats can’t reach. Below and on deck, Luffin Life is set up for practical cruising with a custom fridge and freezer, microwave, 12k BTU MarineAir AC, full enclosure, hatch screens and covers, and a comfortable cockpit with factory hammock seating. She comes with a well-rounded inventory including a main and screecher in great condition, dinghy with a new Yamaha 15hp outboard, reinforced davits, upgraded ground tackle with a 20kg Rocna anchor, and additional spares and cruising gear. A recent bottom job with primer and antifouling, along with structural reinforcement aft, adds further peace of mind. This is an ideal entry-level cruising catamaran that has already proven herself as a capable and enjoyable family boat. While not without cosmetic and maintenance items, she is ready to sail today with minimal work required. Located in the welcoming cruiser hub of Luperon, she offers the perfect starting point for Caribbean adventures, with the option for delivery assistance or onboard orientation for new owners.
