Its construction began in 1964 at the Sangermani shipyard in Lavagna, based on a design by Cesare Sangermani. She was designed to compete in the famous Los Angeles to Honolulu Regatta and was launched in 1966. After an illustrious career of racing and competition, this Marconi Class yacht with her shiny planking was adapted for cruising in the Mediterranean Sea.
