She has a full displacement steel passage maker with a fuel efficient John Deere diesel engine and a sail assist/get home balanced rig with roller furling jib and roller furling main with boomless main sail trimmed with a traveler bar control and four Harken winches. Designed with long range ocean crossing capabilities, the Seahorse Diesel Duck 462s are easy to handle and are very comfortable to live-aboard.
