This is a unique opportunity to acquire the demonstration Optima e10 100% electric motor-yacht. This vessel was constructed in 2022 as part of an R&D programme to demonstrate the efficiency of the Optima hull. This resulted in one of the most efficient electric boats ever built with a range of over 100 nautical miles. The vessel has been tested over the last 3 years and the drive system upgraded with a RAD40 drive. The Optima e10 became the first ever electric boat to circumnavigate the Isle of Wight, on a single charge, so will always have a special place in maritime history & electric boat development.

The e10 is optimised to cruise in comfort with minimal wash & no slamming thanks to the wave piercing hull. The e10 offers an exceptionally spacious and sociable cockpit including seating for 8 people, extensive galley facilities including a large fridge / freezer, induction hob and hot and cold water. The large carbon fibre and mahogany dining table provides a unique dining experience onboard for you and your guests.

The recently fitted large carbon fibre roof provides shade, weather protection and space to fit PV panels. The double-seat helm station includes Raymarine instrumentation and navigation with dual 12” Axiom+ MFDs, VHF, AIS and wireless phone charging. A sophisticated Fusion music system provides entertainment, which can be enjoyed underway without the noise of a conventional powertrain to spoil the tranquillity of your time on the water. Rear sunbeds provide additional relaxation spaces and without noise and emissions from the electric drive these can be enjoyed when on passage, expanding the usable space on the vessel.

The very large storage locker under the sunbed provides exceptional storage space for tender, outboard and toys such as paddle-boards or electric foiling boards that can then be recharged onboard from the main batteries. A double cabin with large double bed incorporating luxurious memory foam mattress provides overnight accommodation. The toilet compartment can be shut off from the cabin and includes electric toilet with holding tank and sink with hot and cold water.
